What are some of the most valuable lessons or skills you’ve learned while working as a sales analyst?
One of the most valuable lessons I have learned as a sales analyst is the importance of being curious and asking, "why not."
This mindset has allowed me to dig deeper into data and uncover insights that may not be immediately apparent.
Being curious and asking "why not" has also helped me challenge assumptions and think critically about the data I analyze. This approach has not only improved the accuracy of my analysis but has also enabled me to provide more valuable insights and recommendations to the sales team. Furthermore, being curious and asking "why not" has fostered a continuous growth mindset.

Can you highlight any specific projects or accomplishments that you are proud of during your time as a sales analyst?
While my experience on the veterinary sales side of the business is a bit different than our mainline accounts, I’m very proud of the work I completed to be a pioneer for the company and implement the large-scale ability to process electronic payments to our clinics.

How did these experiences contribute to your understanding of the sales insights and overall business strategy?
Being a lead on this project to implement large-scale electronic payments in our veterinary clinics allowed me to analyze our business and identify trends within the industry and among our customers. These insights enabled me to provide valuable recommendations on setting goals and developing strategies to achieve them. By successfully hitting these goals, we maximized our return on investment and generated significant cost savings for the company.

In your opinion, what sets Purina apart as an employer in terms of supporting and developing sales analysts?
Purina supports and develops all associates and has a strong sense of acceptance throughout the company. From day one, I felt welcomed and valued. Everyone was eager to provide guidance and answer any questions. Additionally, a distinctive perk is the ability to bring my dog Bob to the office with me every day. This creates a positive and inclusive work environment that truly sets Purina apart as an employer.
