St. Louis, Missouri
We planted our roots in St. Louis back in 1894. Since then, our shared love of pets has driven us to expand our manufacturing processes to facilities across the United States, while St. Louis has grown into what some would call a “hidden gem”. This “big city with a small-town feel” has everything you need and more—a rich culture with world-class schools and healthcare, an affordable cost of living, and unique neighborhoods for every lifestyle. As Purina’s U.S. headquarters, it’s here that we come together to celebrate wins, welcome and train new associates, and ultimately drive innovation for the future of pet care.
Serving as our corporate headquarters, this city is the heart of our operations. It’s here that we work to develop the highest quality pet food and pet care products to millions of pets around the world. In addition to our corporate headquarters, St. Louis is also home to our state-of-the-art support center, where we manufacture proprietary machinery for our factories while providing exceptional customer service and support to our factories. Last, we have Purina Farms, a destination for families to experience the joy of pets through interactive exhibits, events, and educational programs. Together, these three pillars of our presence in St. Louis showcase our commitment to pets and their well-being, making it a truly special place for all pet lovers.

Over 2,000 employees are located here—near the heart of downtown St. Louis. 14 buildings and 1 million sq. ft. of office space makes us amongst the largest employers in the area.
Nestlé Purina became the first pet food made using a technology called extrusion to form distinctive shapes. In 1982, we brought this technology in-house—which became the founding of our Support Center.
Purina Farms is home to our well-known Visitor Center and the Purina Event Center. This family-friendly attraction offers pet lovers an opportunity to get up close with barnyard animals and amazing dogs and cats.
